The Panthers-Lightning rivalry is a strange one. One where I think most of each fan base, despite not liking one another, supports both franchises being successful. The minute we lost, I wanted them to win. Probably just to continue to slap any anti-Florida northerners in the face.

I'm just relieved the fucking Blues are toast.

My uncle is a huge Sharks fan and I was born in San Jose (the year the team was founded, no less) so I've always had an affinity for that team. I hope the Lightning win tonight so I can be fairly neutral on the SCF and just enjoy the games.

Yeah I like them. Particularly like the white ones more than the red, and the logo is nice. Panther looks like an actual panther, which is cool.

Yeah, with no iron in the fire, this series seems kind of lackluster. 2 Cups is better than 1 for Crosby and Malkin, though.

What's funny is the NHL has rather good parity, and these winners aren't necessarily a collection of powerhouses by any means.
