I like Perkins, but he needs to learn to accept the fouls he's called for. I can understand acting really upset every now and then, but dude treats every foul call like it's a personal insult.

Was that picture above the one that Gasol got a foul called on him when it clearly looked like a clean block? If anything, the person that was standing next to Gasol during that one play, was the one that hit Garnett on the wrist after the shot. If anyone would have been called, it should have been him, not Gasol. (ETA-different shot/photo)
And the replay of KG's backcourt pass showed him in the air. I thought the announcers said it would have been a violation once his feet hit the ground ![]() ETA: Listening to Sports Radio now, they have the ticket agency on the air talking about ticket prices for Sunday's game. Floor seats - $22,000 each I think. Biggest thing to hit L.A. he said. And he said the price for Sunday 6/15 (Father's Day) are even more. Prices in Boston are about 25% less he stated. Magic Johnson was on earlier, and he said everyone is calling him for tickets. He had to turn down Janet Jackson ![]() |

![]() They were just discussing on the radio... The Lakers could have won the game, but they lost it. They were saying the Lakers lost the game, not that the Celtics won the game (does that come across right?) |

I think the game was a well-played game. While the Lakers missed some shots down the stretch, the Celtics should get credit for playing well defensively at the end.
So the Celtics won, and the Lakers lost - how's that? ![]() |

Agreed, the Celtics don't get the credit they deserve on defense. They were the best team defensively during the season and had the defensive player of the year You could probably go round and round arguing whether the Lakers just shot poorly or the C's caused them to shoot poorly. Either way, it's 1-0 good guys.

and of course garnett was in the air, that's not the question... the question is where he took off from. if his foot was on or over the line, then the second he touches the ball it's a back court violation. but you can't tell where the line is because of that asinine giant trophy on the court. umm... no. |

The Celtics will get no respect till they finish off the Lakers.
So many pundits picked the Lakers, yet the Celts had the league's best record, home court and swept the Lakers convincingly (albeit before the posterized Gasol trade). Defense isn't sexy enough for people so they pick the flashy higher scoring team. I mean, the series stands 1-0 Celts and the current series line in Lakers -125, Celtics +105. |

I like the giant trophy, in case I forget that I'm watching the finals. It reminds me every change of possetion.

The Keyser Soze of ridiculous misspellings was the time Justin referred to Headache as "Head in a Suitecase."
