Technology is a great thing. And 20 some years ago,the NFL open his doors to it by welcoming instance replay.Shortly after, hockey welcomed it,so did tennis and even baseball. But it also open a can of worms, because the premise being to "get the call right".While Hockey restricted to goals or no goals, tennins for "is the ball in or out" and baseball for "is it a homerun or not",the NFL gave it a larger rule book."both feet in","catch or no catch","did the ball crossed the line","spot of the ball",ect...

If only the NFL would restricted only when it concern a touchdown, but open to EVERYTHING that surrounds a T.D.,like "both feet in",catch or no catch, ball crossed to line or not ,like we have now, but also to penalities, then it would the serve the purpose of getting the call right.Like last Monday night, the offence past interference would have been seen of the replay and there for, the touchdown would have been disallowed.

As for baseball,i would expand it for plays at home plate and keep it for the homeruns.Don't go further by using it for base stealing or plays at each bases for that matter and of course don't use it for balls and strikes.

The NHL don't do manning things right, but using it only for goals,it keeps the element of human errors by the officials as part of the game in regards to offsides and penalities but there are no debacle when in touches the essence of the game, meanning "Goal or no Goal".

The NFL should just do what college football does and review all close plays. The challenge flag system is ridiculous. One of the only times when college football does something better.
