I adjusted my attendance at the National festival to just the second day as that is the day Future Island also plays. Anyway, long time no buy tickets - really only because everyone seems to be playing NYC the two weeks in October I am away! Otherwise probably would have gone to Gorillaz, Nick Cave, NIN and Garbage...really kills me to miss Gorillaz. But I did commit to VIP for one event because I have a strong feeling somebody I like will be prominent there.

I am also thinking strongly about the Sundays of Panorama Festival at the end of July and/or Afropunk at the end of August but haven't decided yet. Also have my eye on doing a Celebrate Brooklyn freebie show in August as well, but not committed to it yet.

My knee basically said nope, no, no way right after the Arcade Fire show, so I had bagged a couple of things and didn't follow through on some things I had in mind in order for it to recover, plus the general lineup for Global Citizen kinda sucks this year so I am bagging that. At least my knee waited until I was done with the blitz for a total collapse and I had a chunk of time to recover. Thankfully Pearl Jam at Fenway is seats should I still not be 100% by then.

This is a few months away, so I picked up a ticket to this on Friday...
