Grizzly Bear was a last minute, think 4pm the day of, addition. Thanks again FitzChivalry! Fantastic show.
I am weak and also couldn't resist seeing the Joy Formidable at the Troubadour.

The three 2013 shows, I was already planning but I wasn't planning on them being so close to one another. I will be needing much caffeine that week.

Freaking awesome show tonight.

A few weeks ago, I saw Alanis Morissette at Terminal 5 in NYC. She was awesome and her husband, DJ Souleye, opened for her.

I know Alanis is not that relevant these days, but hey, I was a huge fan of her when she first came out and I finally got to see her!

December 31 - Coldplay & Jay-Z, Brooklyn

Ending the year with a bang in my home borough, not only that but it's my birthday that day as well. :D Plus I finally get to see the new arena!

And I THINK that is finally it for 2012. I do have one show on the roster already for 2013, Muse.

That's a nice way to round out the year.

Smashing out Coldplay, Radiohead and Morrissey to round out the year.

Shattered I missed out on Stereo tix so no Calvin, Example, Tiesto, Avicii and Van She for me.

Ah well. They'll be back

About time I update this, late in the year but good enough:

PAST
03/31 - Juan Luis Guerra, Ruben Blades, Robi Draco Rosa - Coliseo de Puerto Rico - San Juan

UPCOMING
12/29 - David Guetta - Centro de Convenciones - San Juan

Hey, already have one for 2013! :D

UPCOMING - 2013
01/05 - Deadmau5 - Centro de Convenciones - San Juan

Could not miss David Guetta & Deadmau5 - both shows were selling at a 2-for-1 price of $60. What a way to end 2012 and begin 2013...freaking excited (last time I was excited for anything was U2 a year and a half ago)

Gary Clark Jr - November 13th - Troubadour
The Joy Formidable - November 19th - Troubadour
No Doubt - Nov 28th - Gibson Amphitheater
Biffy Clyro - Dec 6th - The Satellite

Gary Clark Jr was phenomenal.

The Joy Formidable were great in that tiny venue. So amazingly loud as well.

Its a little crazy that I'm seeing a band like Biffy Clyro in a teeny tiny venue like the Saltellite.

I got to see Sufjan Stevens last night doing his Christmas tour. If you'd have told me that I would thoroughly enjoy a set of 70% carols and Sufjan holiday music, I'd have booked you into rehab. But it was great.

Non-carolling encore:

Concerning the UFO...
Chicago
To Be Alone With You
John Wayne Gacy Jr. Not quite the uplifting seasonal sendoff, but a favorite of mine.
Come On! Feel the Illinoise!

Also, during the main set: For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fatherless in Ypsilanti

December 31 - Coldplay & Jay-Z, Brooklyn

And I lied yet again:

December 10 - Smashing Pumpkins, Brooklyn

Yes, I did see them earlier this year, but it was only an eight song set. Been going back and forth on this show for nearly six months, but it has not sold well at all so there was no real urgency - originally scheduled for Halloween (we all know what happened in NYC then...), was ready to bite on it a day or two before since I was suffering cabin fever and I could get to it, but they postponed before I actually bought. Then I was still going back and forth on it. Finally bit yesterday when they started offering $25 tix and they were actually GA and good seats... So now two shows at the new "home venue" to round off the year. :)

3/9 - Radiohead
4/13-15 - Coachella
5/4-6 - Beale St. Music Festival
5/17 - St. Vincent w/ Shearwater
5/19 - Wilco
