I'd be surprised if both The National and Modest Mouse are opening. When I read the announcement, I took it to read that they would be opening for REM ... but not at the same shows.

I am so pissed off that this tour isn't coming to Ohio or any closer to me than Chicago, which I can't do. Hopefully R.E.M. will add more dates after the summer in Europe. Surely they will... right?

3/24/08- Bruce Springsteen, Columbus
6/22/08- Tom Petty, Cleveland
?/?/08- Radiohead, Cleveland
?/?/08- Dave Matthews Band- Yearly tradition, rumored to be playing Crew Stadium in Columbus
?/?/08- Coldplay
?/?/08- REM (They'll surely come back to the states in the fall. They have always played at least one show in Ohio on every tour)
