Had a good friend on the phone today. At the end of our call we'd picked 2 concerts, bringing my total for this year to 3.

Concerts in the future:
21 March: Arid, Melkweg, Amsterdam
28 March: Claw Boys Claw, Paradiso, Amsterdam
12 July: Doe Maar, Feyenoord Stadium, Rotterdam

It looks like 2008 will be another stellar concert year!

With In Rainbows having debuted today at #1 on the U.S. charts, RADIOHEAD has confirmed the cities to be visited on the band's upcoming North American tour.

The tour will take place in two segments, one prior to and one following the recently announced summer tour of the UK and Europe.

Slow start to the year for me...I have no shows yet.

But, I think it will pick up soon. I've got Radiohead penciled in...more than once (New York and a city TBD on the leg NY isn't on), and in dark pencil. This All Points West festival (which may turn out to be Radiohead's "NYC" show) is exciting me greatly, I'm hoping REM goes out on tour, even if the new album sucks, and I see that The Verve is playing Coachella...I hope they have some other U.S. gigs besides that!

March 9--LA Master Chorale: Bach's Mass in B Minor

I started my concert year in the same venue as I ended it last year. On a whim I decided to check out this band (I got the second to last ticket available!). And what a show! Voicst is a Dutch band and they just have their second CD out. What a show! What a music! What an energy! I'm converted! The year has just started, but I think I already have witnessed one of this year's highlights.
