I would have added this to an existing thread, but a search came up empty.

Well crap. Search fail.

In any case, I love this show. I'm one of those odd ducks who actually likes a lot of The Who and Townshend's solo 80s material, and this tour has a good variety of eras.

I've always liked The Who a lot, but in the past decade or so, they've moved up to one of my top 5 bands of all time. Saw shows during their last two tours and have tickets for this fall (sprung for floors this time - very excited). Saw the revival of Tommy in 2013 at Stratford. Des McAnuff directed, and Pete Townshend attended a performance there just a few days before ours. Des gave a little talk for a few minutes before the show started. I also saw the original Toronto production in '95.

I saw this tour in Foxboro, if I recall its the one where Townshend is playing in a glass booth or something because of his tinnitus.

I'm a casual Who fan. Started to get interested in them in '89. I can remember the Who being one of the hottest tickets in the second half of 1989. I think it was like 7 years since they had last toured, but it seemed like a lifetime.

That would probably be relevent were I not using the acronym as a short form for the phrase, as opposed to it literally sounding out as Oh Emm Gee.

Right, I was trying to convey to you that O-M-G didn't exist, but "Oh my God!" did. If we're gonna kick it like it's the 1980's, you gotta do it right.
