I purposely held out on listening to the vinyl rip of the Lightning Bolt 12", and now I'm glad I did. "I'm Working at NASA on Acid" is rad.

did you get your copy at Waterloo? Mine is on order from Indiana. They are being really strict with these release.

Yeah, I got both Prefuse 73 and Lightning Bolt at Waterloo. Had to mail order Neon Indian from Guestroom in Norman.

I'm going to lose my shit if next month's 12" is the Panda one.

I saw Lightning Bolt two years ago but only later made the connection. The Bowie track was the song of the summer for me. Incredible live.

Alright Lips fans, I need some direction. I started listening to them within the last year or so, and I own The Soft Bulletin (love it) and Yoshimi (meh). Which album should I look into next?

Yep, it's a relatively smooth transition into the earlier work if you go with Clouds Taste Metallic.

Agreed that Yoshimi is meh compared to Soft Bulletin, although it has some amazing tracks and impressive production.

I find Yoshimi pretty boring to be honest. Easily last of the five albums I've heard. Definitely got some good tunes though.
