And so round 3 comes to a bitter end with the dismissal of "In Between Days", but it was the most voted round so far of the tiered rounds. May it continue!

In Between Days received 5 votes to get the boot.

14 songs left, 10 move on.

Sinking and then From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea.

Can not even believe they outlasted "In Between Days".

Much better songs, both of them.

Push or Sinking, either one. We'll see how it goes.

Lullaby, now that I've actually noticed it's still in the running.

Can't believe you lunatics ousted In Between Days.

In Between Days is little more than a ditty. A fun one, of course, but it has nowhere near the heft or depth of the other songs here.

My vote this round is for Letter to Elise.

I think it is the one song where The Cure got closest to recording the perfect pop song, not Just Like Heaven (good though it is).

Yeah, how dare The Cure be anything must sad bastards!

Ever listened to the lyrics to In Between Days? Not the most uplifting track imaginable.

There are great catchy Cure songs, I just don't feel that's one of them.

I'm a big Lullaby fan. It was in the end the song that got me into the band. But I won't be that bummed if it goes away, as long as Fascination Street is not bothered.

Fascination Street is the blandest (though not necessarily weakest) track on Disintegration. It's a necessary rocker on what is an otherwise emotionally wrought album. I like it. But I will be voting for it here pretty soon.

Totally agree about Lullaby, but apparently I have the worst Cure taste ever because two of my top five are already out the door.

I have to agree with your honest self-criticism.
