I got a Myspace bulletin today saying that if you pre-order the album on iTunes, you'll get Two right away, as well as a chance to take part in a Ticketmaster pre-sale.

zoney, the last time I saw Ryan Adams in Philadelphia, he played at the Electric Factory. I'm glad he's not playing there again, since it wasn't a good space for him. The TLA is a smaller venue I believe (right on South Street--a bonus), but I doubt it's going to sell out immediately. If you do the pre-sale or log in the day they go onsale, you should be able to get a ticket.

Okay, I just found out they ended up announcing this morning that there was a pre-sale this morning for Detroit. I tried to get tix, and the pre-sale tix are all gone. Ticketmaster better be kind to me tomorrow. I am so upset!

I swear, you have to be a total internet nerd to keep up with this stuff...like, on sites 24/7. It's ridiculous. I spend enough time online as it is, and I still get behind on things.

Ugh, I am still so miffed by missing the pre-sale. I'm usually not one to complain about musicians I like, but I think it's kind of ridiculous. These dates were announced on Tuesday. I found out about them Wednesday morning, and it said there was going to be no pre-sale for Detroit. Thursday morning, they announce pre-sales...for Thursday morning!!!!! I didn't find out until the afternoon, so I missed out and will have try cross my fingers for the regular sale tomorrow.

Ya know, if I'd gone camping this week or something, I would have missed the announcement, the pre-sale, and the sale...for a show that happens in less than a month. What's up with that???

I think I have seen a show at TLA on South (Doves and mercury Rev a few years ago...U2 was in town, but I did not ahve tickets). Can't remember if it was TLA though.

That's funny, because I only saw Ryan Adams that last time because I was already making the trip to Philly to see U2 that weekend. It was a three-hour drive, so I figured I might as well do as much as I could while I was there.

One of my friends scored a pair during yesterday's pre-sale, but the gal she's going with also got a pair, so they're gonna sell a pair to me!

I cannot believe the problems people are having with getting tickets. I mean, I realize that these dates are small venues, but this is insane. There are a whole lot of diehards who are getting shut out.

I'm really excited, but I'm always a paranoid gal and won't feel 100% confident until I get the tickets in my hand. It looks like a go though. I've been friends with these girls on the Ryan board for awhile, and they've always struck me as two of the sweeter folks there. They said that when they realized they had an extra set, they thought of me right away. They know how much I've been dying for a Michigan show. I just feel really grateful. It's a Festivus miracle!!!

Ryan Adams Homeless?

We admit we were stoked earlier this week by the news that Ryan Adams would be doing a show at The Black Orchid. However we thought it was a little weird that ticketing information for the show seemed spotty. It was listed on WXRT's site ... and then it wasn't. And on Ryan Adams' own website, it was the only show with no info on how to get tickets, and now it has completely disappeared. Phone calls to The Black Orchid only met with a message saying they had no information on the show. What's up?

Well, it turns out The Black Orchid is closed so Adams and his merry crew of Cardinals are scrambling to secure another room in which to play. There's no word on whether tickets will actually go on sale tomorrow though Ticketmaster, even though they were listed as doing so. We think it'd be a little hard to sell tickets to a show when you don't know where it's going to be or how many people you call them too.

If Ryan really needs a place to play, our basement is nice, and we'll even pay for the P.A.!
