Ok i've been listening to Roy Orbison's Mystery Girl quite a bit...and man that voice is king:drool:

I was wondering what other albums do the folk in the know recommend of his?

But really his voice just sounds so pure even when he was much older it still sounds so glorious.

I know an anthology of sorts has been released just recently...anyone have an opinion on it?

Any of his older material is a necessity.

The Essential Roy Orbison pretty much covers everything.

Also, the live Black And White Night is fantastic, with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, etc.

Will look them up...as I said I only have Mystery Girl, but In the Real World from it is brilliant, you know listening to it Antony Hegarty (Antony and the Johnson's) voice is kinda similar at points...
