I'd also say that Gila and Heart of Chambers are two of the best Beach House tracks ever. |

You Came to Me might be my favorite song by them period.

The Unforgettable Fire and Their Satanic Majesties Request. Maybe The Hurting and Lonesome Jubilee? Those are the best albums by Tears for Fears and John Mellencamp, respectively, but I don't think they're considered the favorites by most people.

What's usually picked as the best for Mellencamp? I feel like that would be the default choice.

I feel like Scarecrow and Uh-Huh are his most popular albums. I think that's more what I was taking into account. But checking the numbers, I see it did marginally better than Uh-Huh. I agree it's got to be considered his "best" album, though, right?

My favorite U2 album has been Zooropa for the last 16 years and it's still the album that I return to the most.

Yep, my favourite Arcade Fire album is Reflektor.
I've also not really heard much Spoon, but They Want My Soul I still return to. That's a very underrated album. |

Pitchfork's obituary is really obnoxious. It acts like that was the biggest thing she ever did in her career. I get it's where the Pitchfork audience would likely know her best from, but literally it doesn't even come up in any other article I've skimmed through.

I'd say The Keith Urban Trio stole the show on the Together at Home broadcast.

Six years today since I saw OutKast live in the flesh. Took out a loan, bought a Coachella ticket (thank god I chose the second weekend), flew to LA solo, jumped on a bus solo, made friends and camped with them, saw motherfucking OutKast live, had the time of my life.

![]() ![]() PRR's album been growing on me. When I listened to the first two singles before the album dropped I just wondered what the fuck they'd done, why they'd got back together (I suppose partly because they're such a huge band for me that I wasn't sure what to expect?). First listen to the album felt sorta ho-hum but in a nice way, grateful to have them back in my life. Subsequent listens and it's really wormed its way into my affections. Quote:

Another big one is Isis (shaddup, I've not been able to wear a really good band shirt outside for years now). Their last album, Wavering Radiant, is massive for me. I think most fans take Panopticon as the best - which, granted, I'd place second. My long-standing Split Enz favourite is Frenzy, which is usually very much lost in the mix for most people. Hard to pick my #1 for Alcest, but it's either the very popular Souvenirs d'un autre monde or the almost totally forgotten Shelter. I'm gutted I didn't get to see the Shelter tour; I think since it ended they've played just one song from the album live.

The Hip came out to Rez by Underworld? Cool as shit.
On a similar note, you should listen to Midnight Oil if you haven't, Dave. |
