Music and Confessions on a Dance Floor were great too, but it tapered off after that.

I'm resigning myself to the fact that "Strange Hellos" is her only song to really excite me.

I don't think anything will replace that song. What a beast.

Yeah that’s definitely my favorite by her, but I really like a lot of tunes on her two most recent albums.

New Skin, Sprinter, Son You Are No Island, Three Futures, Bad Baby Pie, Marble Focus. All great.

I can’t get into her debut at all though.

She puts on a fantastic live show too. Seeing her this Friday in Brooklyn.

Saw them play it live and it was perfectly fine, actually fit in really well with the surrounding material from The Hurting.

No mention of Fats Domino's passing? I've never listened to him, but obviously hugely influential and important. Been seeking out a few tracks, and they're pretty bloody amazing for what they are. The Fat Man, for example.

If you'd asked me if he was still alive I would've guessed he died before I was born.

They've been doing it forever. I saw them in 1996 and they covered it then too

Missed the Torres conversation. Strange Hellos is amazing of course, but Three Futures from the new album might be my favorite song of hers.

I don't think she pulled off the more electronic direction as gracefully as her heavier alt rock stuff, but there are some good songs on there.
