I was meh about Tomboy.

Now...

I am meh about this album as well.

What is this album after Tomboy?

Did Radiohead release the KoL sequel under Panda Bear's name?!?!

Anyway, I like the album.

I've come to appreciate Person Pitch as a successful experiment in marrying abstract texture to sugary pop structures, but it is the kind of experiment in which the proverbial lightning would not strike twice. I think that Lennox was wise to move away from that approach on Tomboy, but the critics seem not to be understanding that. Not that I have any kind of special insight - it just seems clear to me that he was not out to make PP 2.0 (much the same as Radiohead did not intend to make In Rainbows 2.0 with King of Limbs).
