Beyoncé - Beyoncé
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
Pet Shop Boys - Introspective
Tindersticks - Trouble Every Day
Jack White - Blunderbuss
V/A - De Beste 2 Meter Sessies Allertijden

plus a singles boxset by Depeche Mode with 6 singles (including all its B-sides, remixes, etc.) from their '90s peak.

Best Coast - California Nights. Jewel case, which you don't see as much of anymore. You'd think jewel would be cheaper? Has lyrics. Happy.

Alpine - Yuck. $2 more for three bonus tracks, cardboard vs jewel. No brainer. Has lyrics. Has cats on the front and the same cats, in a barely-perceptibly-different post on the cover of the booklet. Very happy.

Sun Kil Moon - Universal Themes. Cardboard. Cost $25 but I had to buy it because the company that I fucking ordered it from 15 days ago still has it on "backorder". Has lyrics, which weigh about 14 kilos due to them being so fucking long. Happy.

Out here in Phoenix, Zia Records was running a fantastic Labor Day weekend sale - buy 3 used get the 4th free - any mix of CDs, vinyl, books and/or DVDs.. went in with my wife on a batch at one store on Saturday and then did another haul today at a different location

Used the sale to support and add to my physical collection of two other favorite bands of mine:

Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun
Sigur Ros - Hvarf/Heim
Sigur Ros - Takk...
Modest Mouse - Baron Von Bullsh*t Rides Again
Modest Mouse - The Moon & Antarctica
Modest Mouse - Building Nothing Out of Something

The wife picked up:
Paul Simon - Concert in the Park, and also one of his best-of collections

What a good weekend
