I didn't exactly buy these, but for my birthday on Thursday I received:

A Tonic For The Troops- The Boomtown Rats
Zenyatta Mondatta- The Police
The Wall (Experience Edition)- Pink Floyd

and today this came in the mail:

Led Zeppelin II

Also, our local music store is going out of business, so I'll probably go down there tomorrow and spend some of my birthday money. There's some INXS albums I've had my eye on for ages in there. Plus they might have restocked since I was last there... oh, possibilities...

I bought a few older albums yesterday.

Queens of the Stone Age - Rated R
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
Bjork - Post
Bjork - Debut
The Cure - The Top

And ....i wanted to give this purchase its own thread, as i hyper having FINALLY managed to buy it, after many years of looking for it.

I finally got my hands on, the very rare, Daniel Lanois: Omni Series (3cd box set):drool::drool::drool::hyper::hyper::hyper:

No I didn't. I got post-nothing because I don't read before I click, and the covers look so similar.

Now I have celebration rock.

And:
bouncing souls - comet
Matt Skiba & the sekrets - babylon

Saving my $2.77 and not buying the Dave Hause EP. Fuck, you dissolved the loved ones for that? I mean, I saw it coming and all, and id be more irritated if they pulled a far from finished and released drastically different material under the same name. it just always does bum me out a bit when people stop playing punk rock and try to be acoustic singer songwriters cos they grew up. I still refuse to believe that getting older means I have to get lame.

Santigold - Master of My Make-Believe
Friends - Manifest!
Pump Up the Volume (sdtrk)
In the Name of the Father (sdtrk)

The last two were 2 for $3, so why the hell not.
