I have a feeling I might get some comments on one of these...

He looks like my Uncle Mike; my dead uncle mike. I think I like Rob's movies better than his music. Then again...(but the Halloween update was good).

Recent purchases:

Wolf Parade...At Mount Zoomer
Juliana Hatfield...How to Walk Away
Sebadoh...Bubble and Scrape (reissue)
Shearwater...Rook (finally got it)
The Walkmen...You and Me

:reject: I sort of went nuts on amazon and bought a bunch of used CDs to fill up some spaces in my collection:

Alice In Chains - Dirt
Michael Jackson - Thriller
The Dismemberment Plan - Change
No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom
Various Artists - Saturday Night Fever
De La Soul - De La Soul Is Dead

So I've got a few albums over the last couple of weeks...North American album prices are too cheap for me not to buy a lot of albums

Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes
The Dresden Dolls - A Is For Accident
Vermillion Lies - What's in the Box?
Vermillion Lies - Separated By Birth
Maximo Park - A Certain Trigger (Special Edition)
Morrissey - Maladjusted
Morrissey - Southpaw Grammar
Ani DiFranco - Not a Pretty Girl
Ash - Free All Angels (Special Edition)

I bought the Remaster Box Set on Amazon for like 45 euro; when the remasters cost 30 euro each here

Even when I had to pay 17 euro in customs, that was still a lot cheaper than the price over here.

I got a CD/DVD gift certificate this weekend (late birthday present), so expect some new purchases soon (also because I ordered something from Amazon, so I will have new CDs soon  ). Of course, I will not mention that I still have some unlistened CDs at home (including some of the U2 remasters)... :reject:

Birthday presents to myself, a week early.

Band of Horses -- Everything All The Time

Elbow -- The Seldom Seen Kid
(based on redkat's high, high recommendation, and the fact that is was only $5.99)
Franz Ferdinand -- Franz Ferdinand
Franz Ferdinand -- You Could Have It So Much Better
Placebo -- Without You I'm Nothing
(needed a hard copy of my favorite Placebo LP  )
The Shins -- Oh, Inverted World!

I should mention that they're all used copies, but hey, who cares as long as they play, right?
