Apparently a caracal is an actual cat. Never heard of it.

So what's everyone's thoughts on this? I think it starts tremendously well, Nocturnal, Omen and Holding On are all absolute bangers and Willing & Able has a skeezy vibe I'm a big fan of. Unfortunately I think a lot of the rest is pretty generic or bland or boring. Echoes is a good example of my issue with the album - it's got all these nice touches that sound great but it's really just a by-numbers version of everything that was on Settle.

Apollo is better than nearly everything here.

Apollo is their best song IMO. But this album is nice: when it's playing, it really digs into you, but then when it's done I can't really remember any of it. Not sure why that is.

As I've mentioned in RMT I like it more than Settle. The latter has higher peaks but the former is a lot more consistent. Jaded is fantastic.

This is my fav Disclosure song.

This is a weird choice BTW. It doesn't highlight Disclosure's strengths at all.

The best thing Disclosure has done is still the bass line in When A Fire Starts To Burn.
