I've heard that too. But yeah, keep writing good songs. (As long as BP is backing you up. His solo album sucked)

He was quite talkative to me when I met him. Of course, that could have been the glass of wine he was drinking at the time, and the fact that he didn't know I'm a journalist. We mostly talked about touring, and what places he liked the most.

There. Fixed.

He's released an LP and an EP. The LP was a'iiight. The EP (the little I've heard from it) was not good.

So good to hear this news.

Also, This Modern Love and Uniform are my two favorites.

I've always found Sunday to be a boring song. Still think that the first part is, but man, the climax is breathtaking.

When I'm with you, I am calm
A pearl in your oyster
Head on my chest, a silent smile
A private kind of happiness

There were 22 songs recorded for A Weekend In The City. It easily could've been a double album. Disc 1 - "Saturday"; Disc 2 - "Sunday".

They missed the boat.

The b-side collection, Another Weekend in the City, which I think is fan-made, is fantastic, in my revered opinion.

Not only were there so many b-sides for that album, but they were all pretty damn good, if not great. There really was not a lot of filler. Crazy creative period for them.

Fitz, the band is going to be at some festival in Los Angeles. But I'm sure you know this already.

Yeah, I heard. HARD Summer in L.A. August 3rd and 4th.

But I don't really like HARD events, I can't stand Dubstep, I'm a bit too old for the crowd that will be there, and you can only buy the 2-day festival pass, which, I'm not going to spend a lot of money on a 2-day pass to an event where I only want to see 1 act.

I'll just have to miss it and wait for a proper tour.

Hello Frenchkiss!

Hello Internet

It is with great pleasure that i would like to announce to the universe that Bloc Party have now signed to Frenchkiss Records. This signing has made Bloc Party very happy because not only do we know and love the people at this label but we know and love this label's output. Frenchkiss has released some mighty fine music over the years, music that has gone on to influence this very band.

So here's to some more mighty fine music...

Kele

Those song clips sound promising although they can be misleading.

Excited for this, but also skeptical. Bloc Party can be hit or miss for me.
