Howl was the album that got me into them, but I just picked up BRMC and Baby 81, favorite tracks so far are "Salvation", "White Palms", "Shuffle Your Feet", "Complicated Situation" and "Weapon of Choice"... beside the obvious "Love Burns", "Red Eyes and Tears" and "Berlin"

Looking forward to going out and getting the new album as well.

Well, you have the best three albums already it appears. Also, every song you named rules. Well done, powerhour.

Never bought it. People seemed a bit indifferent to it, so I didn't pick it or the live album up.

It seems the live album is only available through their website too.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Pretty cool, different sound for them.

EDIT: You can download it once the stream is over.

Just realized it's a cover of The Call. If you don't know, BRMC's bassist is the son of the late Michael Been from The Call.

I really like the first 3 albums...Baby 81 a little less so...but still a great band.

I like it a lot but it is a bit weird to have a cover as a lead single?

Whatevs. It's cool that it's a song his dad wrote. I first knew him as Robert Turner, and I remember reading that he went by Turner to hide the fact that he was the son of the guy from the Call. He put the Been back in his name around the time of Howl, but maybe this is just another way of him showing that he's now completely embraced the fact that he's a rock star son of a rock star, or he wanted to record something special in his dad's memory.

As much as I liked this band, I still haven't gotten over the abject fear from when I'd realized I'd lost my keys at a show. And haven't listened to them since. That was fucking years ago, I need to catch up on this shit.
