New Haven is not that far from me, if I felt compelled to see them, that is.

The closest show for me is in Pittsburgh (Millvale), and I can't see myself making that 5-hour drive. I'm just going to cross my fingers that something closer to me (Philly, NYC, Baltimore, DC) gets added down the line.

Milwaukee is a close trip for me and a great place to see concerts - lots of nice venues up there. Milwaukee is an underrated city in general, I think.

Absolutely. I haven't caught a show there in awhile, but it's always been a fun time seeing them there (ironically, I think my last show there was U2 back in 2005).

Might consider seeing them in Minneapolis here.

Agreed and I feel the same about Pittsburgh.

And, Dan, yeah, 5 hours to see Beach House is pushing it.

They're the live act I'm most interested in seeing that I haven't seen (save for defunct acts and maybe Radiohead), so this is pretty disheartening. But I just have a hard time believing they're skipping New York and Philly, and the fact that there are no dates in their hometown (Baltimore) or DC makes me think this is an incomplete tour listing. This is really strange for me, choosing to be optimistic, but here we are.

The floor is yours, Laz.

Via Facebook posting by band:

"as always, there is much more tour beyond this to be announced later on as well......thanks!"

Assuming they meant to have "dates" in there after "tour", but point taken.

True, though didn't they exclusively tour Canada last year?

I believe so, yes. I did see them last tour so I'm not exactly dying to see them again unless the new album is really good of course.

They toured across Canada last year. Not surprised by the lack of Canadian dates, though I'm sure Toronto, Montreal, and maybe others will be added later.

If I go, at least I have a long time to save up for the LA gigs.

I absolutely do not get why Peef loves this band SO much, but I do like them and am looking forward to this new album. Packaging sounds super cool. Hopefully it blows my mind and forces me to buy the vinyl.

The atmospherics, the vocals, the consistency, the ever-maturing but still recognizable songcraft...one of the best bands out there at the moment.
