Welcome to the Fourteenth Round (that's right only 6 matches left now) of the Artist League, just a quick recap on the rules before I give you today's fixtures.
To give a result for a match you simple write down the score you want to give the match to the right of the fixture (e.g. U2 vs The Smiths 2-2).
You can select any result from 0-0 to 3-3 (if you do not know the bands please select 0-0)
When giving your results a win by 1 means you like an artist more, a win by 2 you like an artist a lot more and a win by 3 means there is no comparison between the two (however this is just a guideline, you may vote anyway you wish)
Strategic Voting is fine e.g. if the match is U2 vs Wilco and you think both bands are equal but know U2 will do much better it is fine to give a 3-0 to Wilco to try to make the match a draw overall.
It would be easier for me in counting the results if you give a result for each match, if you don't like the bands just go with a 0-0 and move on to the next match up.
There is no requirement of prior participation in the competition so if you feel like joining in now for the first time go right ahead and take part,and if you have any questions about how this works don't be afraid to ask.
This round will last for 72 hours that means that it will end at 4am on Wednesday, so make sure you have your results in by then.

Premier:
The National (20th) vs The Clash (13th) - The National remain the only band in the Premier to go this far into the season without the a single point; and will need to start winning if they are to stay in the Premier for next season. The Clash on the other hand are lying in a low mid table position and will be hoping to improve on that with a win today.
Wilco (17th) vs Coldplay (16th) - Both bands are equal on points after 13 games with Coldplay just lying above the relegation zone and Wilco lying just inside it; this match could well decide which one will stay up
The Beatles (2nd) vs Porcupine Tree (19th) - The Beatles are still chasing the top spot and are equal on points with leaders U2; Porcupine Tree are just hoping they can gain some points and stay in the division
Championship
The Killers (5th) vs Bright Eyes (16th) - The Killers currently lie just three points from a promotion place while Bright Eyes lie just one point above relegation, both bands could sure use with a win today.
Jess Buckley (13th) vs Pavement (17th) - Lower Mid Table Jeff Buckley faces off against relegation battlers Pavement; Jeff will be trying to keep his distance from the drop zone while Pavement will be looking to get out of it for the first time this season
Third Division A
Elvis Costello (2nd) vs Queen (1st) - Elvis Costello faces off today against the unbeatable Queen who seem to be having no problems dismissing every band they've played so far; can their closest rival put an end to it?
Frank Sinatra (3rd) vs Jane's Addiction (14th) - Frank Sinatra is going into today's game hoping he'll be in a promotion position by the end of it; Jane's Addiction will be looking for a few points here to help them stay in the Third Division
The Dresden Dolls (16th) vs Sugababes (19th) - The Dresden Dolls know that a win today could bring them one step closer to not being knocked out of the competition completely; the Sugababes on the other hand know a lose today will mean they'll be playing in the Fourth Division next season at best.
Common (20th) vs Sam Cooke (15th) - Common are in need of a win today if they are to stay in the Third Division; Sam Cooke on the other hand knows he is dreadfully close to being knocked out of the competition completely if he fails to win any points
Third Division B
INXS (5th) vs Elvis (6th) - Both artists are refusing to give up on their chase for promotion, but a lose today for either of them could put it completely out of their reach
Catherine Wheel (15th) vs Avril Lavigne (20th) - Both artists are not in a great position as the season draws to a close; a lose of Avril today could mean that she will be down in the Fourth Division next season and failure to win for Catherine Wheel could see them edging closer to the complete drop zone.
Jacques Brel (19th) vs John Lennon (1st) - League leader John Lennon faces off against winless Jacques Brel. A lose for Brel today will see him officially relegated to Division 4
