Wow! That was excellent. Very arty but I thought the balance between art, music and behind the scenes stuff was very well balanced.

On the other hand, there was no where near enough of Sarah!

Yeah the balance was very well done and I loved the live stuff but it was awesome to see the random stuff with the band and the phone calls were so awesome

I got the email about the download being available, but haven't been able to check into it more at the site.

Is it a free download? And am I understanding correctly that a physical release will come later?

You have to pay for the download

You can get a small ($5.99), medium ($9.99) or large file ($13.99)

or a DVD plus the medium file immediately ($15.99)
or the Deluxe with the large file immediately ($29.99)

Interesting! Thanks for the info. Is the DVD and Deluxe info you mentioned a physical release? Or DVD files to be burned onto your own blank DVD?

Not sure if the first part of your post is re: download, and the second part is for ordering a physical copy.

Pitchfork TV is streaming Miroir Noir this week. While some parts are meh, it contains my favorite live moment of any concert I have ever been to: Power Out --> Rebellion (Lies).

See part 6 for this. Pitchfork: TV

Is Rebellion the Song of the Decade?

It would definitely be in my Top 3.

To hear that and LCD Soundsystem's All My Friends (another candidate) at the same show was amazing, to say the least.

What a fucking track. What a band. Really, it's hard to find a band with two albums as strong as those two. Their third album will be a fascinating one, I think, in terms of their choice of direction.

Two top candidates right there. I can't possibly come with a top 5 for this decade, but I'd say How to Disappear Completely and Sufjan Steven's Chicago would also be up there for me. But Rebellion could easily be my favorite live song of the decade.

They were a GREAT touring combo. Did you do the indietastic thing and by that LCD/Arcade 7" they were selling at the shows?

Watched it on pitchfork.tv last week. I'm thinking I'll have to buy a copy. It was sooo good. Loved it.
