I was referring to that specific show, in which they pulled a complete Dalton Brothers.

I just can't gets Win's stupid self-serious face from the video out of my head. What a tool.

I can't really be bothered to watch the video; I have very little interest in them (videos) these days.
I heard the song several times on satellite radio today. The more I hear it, the more I love it. |

I struggled to get into any of Arcade Fire's past work but this Reflektor is some great stuff. I do also like the fact they've dragged it out over 7 and a half minutes.

Wayne Coyne doesn't like him.

This keeps getting better with each listen. It's now my favorite Arcade Fire song since Funeral. It has that "magic" again. The last few minutes remind me of the ending of Rebellion in a weird way. It has that same transcendence if you will.

Agreed. This is my favorite kind of Arcade Fire song. Power Out is probably my favorite so it's no surprise that I like this tune so much.

It gets better with repeat listens, but it still mainly makes me want to listen to Remain In Light or one of LCD's albums instead.

When I listened to the song the first time while watching the video, my reaction was... huh?
When I listened to the song without the video, I absolutely loved it. That video is terrible. |

What don't you like watching a mirrorball guy with a shit kicker hat walking through a glade at night?
![]() Or maybe they are saving their money for more cheap videos a la Magnificent sandwich chewing video so they can really spread out their double album promotion? |

I wasn't planning on listening to it, but then I figured I'd forget what it sounds like by the time the album inevitably leaks.
I really enjoyed it. Now I'm really getting excited. HYPE.

Between this track and Daft Punk's latest, is it safe to say that there's been a sizable late '70s throwback wave this past year?
Maybe this album will have a 9 minute cut of David Byrne explaining his career with a "Born Under Punches"-sounding track in the background. |
