Dang you guys. Fingerprints is selling some fancy pretty vinyl thing for 10 bucks at 9PM. You LA folks might want to jump in the car and drive down to Long Beach.

They are selling it at Amoeba and Origami as well. The line at Amoeba is crazy.

I did end up stopping by the local indie shop on the way home, but as I suspected they didn't get any copies.

They put in an order for me, but there's no guarantee the distributor actually has any.

For me it's €6. Still a lot. Not sure what I'm going to do. Pre-sale would be nice with their growing popularity.

Interesting new song and a long one too! But I need a few more listens for it to really sink in.

That video should never have been made, and is a terrible way to hear the song for the first time... Because I literally spent the entire time staring at my phone going.."uhhhh... what?"

Preorder is up through Merge if free US shipping revs yer engine. Going through them usually gets you the album several days early as well: Merge Records Store

They've also got the 12" up, limited to 500 copies through the web store.

Thanks. Saved more than 10 dollars going through Merge.

Yeah - very creepy video - I felt like I was watching a mashup of "Mama" and "Schindler's List"

The song is also very strange. It almost seems they are going for the electronica-disco-rock vibe of U2's Pop.

I do recall an inordinate amount of giant paper mache head masks in Spielberg's oeuvre. What's up with that guy?

You can sing Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" right over this new Arcade Fire single.
