Arcade Fire 2: Arcade Harder

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

I actually agree with you on that point, but somehow Sprawl II is the exception. Just a great song.

I just drove home through a blizzard that had a knocked the power out, and sang "Power Out" while I drove. Well, I sang the three or four lines I could remember and then stopped.

For me:

1. Funeral
2. Neon Bible
3. The Suburbs

All, however, are superb albums. I'll say this: We Used to Wait and Sprawl II might be the two best songs of 2010.

Agreed to all. I thought Arcade Fire missed a big opportunity at the Grammys by not playing Sprawl II live. In a setting like that, you have to break out your best song.

Terrible.

If you're going to go to those lengths to make a joke, be informed. Bieber wasn't nominated for Album of the Year.

I laughed the first time he got punched. Didn't see it coming.

And I think mentioning Bieber even though he wasn't nominated was part of the joke.

I first heard Arcade Fire when someone sent me the link to the We Used To Wait interactive video. I love it.

Just this week, I bought The Suburbs for $5 on Amazon download. My faves are We Used To Wait, Modern Man and Month Of May. The songs I like best have ELO quality to them, like ELO Meets U2 or something.

Awesome, I get to pretend to like them in person on May 3. I had a feeling that appearance at Jazzfest would mean Texas dates.

If you go to Dallas to see them play with Okk Riv, I will be jealous.

I'm excited they're actually coming to my city of residence. I was in Cobbler's filthy country the last time they came through and had to give my tickets up.

Suppose I could since it falls on a weekend, but it'd be so much easier to just stay put and see them with EITS. I'll be seeing THE OKK! several times during SXSW anyway. Explanibrag.

Very cool, Dalton

All the openers / double bills are stellar, I'm excited to see Local Natives.

Wow, they know how to pick openers. Still hoping they add east coast dates, but they covered it pretty well last year; nice to see flyover country get some love.
