U2 and the Passion of the Christ

Hello,

I used to frequent this website quite a bit several years ago and tonight, instead of sleeping, I decided to check back in for the first time in a long time. Forgive me if I am trudging through old news but I just wondered if any of you knew anything about what any of the members of U2 thought of the Passion. I'd be curious to know especially given the tension between Bono and Mel Gibson over the Million Dollar Hotel. I look forward to reading your responses.

Oops. Its been so long since I have been here that I forgot about the Goal is Soul forum. I see there is a similar post in there so please feel free to give this one the axe since it is both redundant and misplaced. Sorry everybody.

Well since this thread apparently hasn't moved, I'll put in my two cents.

I'm sure the members of U2 have no opinion on the Passion of the Christ, just like they have no opinion on any other controversial subject anymore.

Praise Jesus and pass the ketchup.

Actually, I think I will move this to Goal Is Soul, but do carry on.
