Dia Duit is the Irish for Hello!

Is there someone who's willing to share with me his/her knowledge of Irish language?

I think it's a splendid language and I'd like to get a little in it

Slan agat

lil problem: how can I know how to pronounce it?

other question: "slan agàt" is goodbye?

Proprio così! Italiana 100%. E tu?

sono americana, ma, posso parlare un po italiana. non ho studiato per due anni fa...so english is probably better at the moment. I live in Sicily for at least a month every summer. Just had to say ciao :)

Hi M4P :waves: I love it and really feel more at home there than in the U.S. sometimes. I'm dying to go to Ireland! Let's trade countries for a little while :)

ok, I'll wait for you here in Milan!!!
I'm an ace in bringin people around the city -- especially in my car... I'm such a bad driver!!

I know, I have to know lots of it and speak it to a stranger with them aksing me questions... and if I do bad it'll have a huge impact on whether or not I go to college to do a course that has nothing to do with Irish and I'll never need it!!!

god damn Irish education system
