My mom just made beef stew and it made me think of this thread. It was the first time we've ever had it. The beef was OK, but I didn't like the vegetables . My mom and dad thought it was great though

i made the best (better than the other best) stew the other week. it only had a few ingredients. do you count water as an ingredient? lol. anyway, it had water, beef, stock cubes, an onion and peas. and some cornflour to thicken it up a little. it was utterly perfect. i only scabbed because i actually forgot to do anything more exotic with it, and the 6 people i served it to all wanted second serves.
