__________________Beneath the tree by which I rest Entangled in this wooded breast The silent sigh the peaceful gasp The poison leaking from my my wrist It seeps into the forest floor This hell you seem to adore Wound me with your jagged tongue Make sure all my wires come undone Toxic venom that you spray Leave me in silent disarray The wall you build, the mask again Run me over, my so called friend Breathless now with shallow sleep The poison holds a steady grip Long after you've since abandoned ship Shudder and growl This realization most foul Return this strength that has been sapped I am not your muse You will deny that you abuse But I know the simple truth Flesh and bone Serpent soul Antidote Vanish Repent |
