Hi everyone, sorry for posting so much in here, a little overly enthusiastic at having a new audience for my poems. I'll slow down a bit, but I just wanted to post my U2 limericks to start off the weekend. Can never have enough U2, Happy Friday everyone.
Elevation
Some groupies went to Elevation
But found to their consternation
They couldn't budge security
Despite offers of impurity
Alas there was no penetration
Alter Ego
When Bono emerged dressed as the Fly
There came of course the question why
"I think Macphisto may be sleeping
Mirrorball Man of course is weeping
So I crept back out on the sly"
Adam
On Achtung Baby there is a space
A nude pic of Adam in its place
I've tried in vain
Tried again and again
But that damned clover won't erase!
Hell Frozen Over
It finally happened one autumn day
Bono let Larry have his way
No lemons, flashes, or jumbotrons,
No glitter, no glam, no Fly icons,
Poor Larry was too stunned to play.
