About his heritage and his taste,
They denounced all his wit and charm,
Calling him a man without grace,
They threw him in the dock,
Put him under lock and key,
But he had great love for his fellow man,
And I have his love for me,

The words will never more be spoke,
In such a distinguished Gaelic tone,
So heres to you Mr. Wilde,
And the hearts and minds you own...........

A truly lovely tribute - I can't believe I missed this one. I hate what happened to that genius of a man, and love how you've payed tribute to him.

Thank you very much, it's a shame and an oft recurring theme in history imo genius being persecuted and ignorance
