Creepies crawling up the wall
They’ll reach the top before they fall
Creepies coming out of rocks
My own are hiding in a box

I’m breaking through the looking glass
I’m breaking through the looking glass
Reaching into another’s past
Hoping to find answers to what I ask

A sheet of glass that separates
It’s cracking under their disgrace
The lies are starting to seep through
I don’t know what they want to do

I’m breaking through the looking glass
I’m breaking through the looking glass
Reaching into another’s past
Hoping to find answers to what I ask

It’s always easier to quit
But the questions keep making us sick
The buzzards are flying overhead
You know it isn’t safe to play dead

You’ll find what you need if you look
You’ll find what you need if you look
Find the diamonds in the trash
Find the diamonds in the trash

This feels like the lyrics of a song. The lines have a lot of internal rhythm and I like the imagery presented. I could envision these lines being sung as a hard rock song or perhaps a gothic rock song.

Yeah, usually I try to write lyrics for songs. I'm learning guitar and hopefully will be writing my own songs soon. So for now, all I've got are the lyrics.
