"sunlight + shadows"

colours on the leaves
darkness in the air
all of heaven's mysteries
shine thru her flaxen hair

across the night
time flies like a dream
shifting sparks of light
dancing thru the slipstream

time stands frozen
and then falls apart
the world was chosen
for every sad heart

and you are sitting
reflecting the sun's blush
stirring and lifting
the sun's paint brush

it is said that the waves of regret never return from the sea
nothing beautiful ever reflects within me

looking for a timeless view
you gaze at the world's fate
touching the sky and staining it w/ blue
smiling at the beauty that still you create

filter in some swirling scents
everything is beautiful, all that is meant
to embrace her love so heaven sent
with my perception, twisted and bent
