colour crashes

slipping down
along the floor
flowers frown
at Satan's allure

ghostly vestige
barren and dead
flooded passage
soul that bled

all over night
splattered red
the lily white
victim's bed

sour with death
broken light
short of breath
day to night

she sleeps now
to dream again
a star now
shining zen

whisper softly
into the sky
slowly, softly
say goodbye

tragic yet beautiful at the same time.
