Snowflakes

Snowflakes are dancing in the wind
shimmering in sunlight
joyous in the journey to the ground
As one, it is unique
yet temporary
but together, they have a lifeforce
sometimes that life is cumbersome and inconvienant
giving grief to those who only see it
as an intrusion on their material lives
other times it's a life of true pure beauty
protecting the gentle grass from jagged winds
giving the trees their winter foliage
