This is an oldie. A Mars Bar to the first one who finds the Bono speak.

SLOWLY SILENTLY WEEPING

Slowly silently weeping
Empowering loving song
Tears fear filling
into the slipstream of the tongue.

Restless weary moment
feeding you on spite.
Making innocent of the daydream
that darkens your every night.

Pelting, billowing breath
choking on the light.
Sinking into your night mask
blackening all feeling white.

Melting, mischievous death
slicing your icestone heart.
Deathly raving tempest
Your life is now art.

Deathly raving tempest
Slowly silently apart.
