Something I just wrote, and wanted to share:

You give me hope
Make me want to fly
I give you my wings
When you pass on by

Take these words
I say to you now
Treat them with care
And never remind me how

We used to whisper in dark voices
tumble and tangle in the light
While I held your strong hands
And you made me forget all the fight
