misplaced commitment swept under
consumed in forgotten silence
distant mirror etched boundary
where life's bled ovation ends
sleeping waterfall lost in our caressed shadow
orphan mist capsized in her river
cradled under her sun in the night
collapsed tide born in winter blood
~flooded deep within dawns lips
woven scars seeping into our lost dreams
emptied blossom over ignorant canvas
that cut through her distant light
as rain strayed from the horizon
beyond where her tears lit the sky
marooned love lost on her face..
absent death baptised
this forgotten faded space..
where we slipped our soul inside

*sigh*
this, the last line especially reminds me of something one of my favourite poets once wrote.

"marooned love lost on her face"

who can write like that?!
bravo

your poetry is a flood of metaphors, waves and waves... sometimes, and don't take this the wrong way, it can be a little overwhelming (most of us struggle to string a couple of metaphors together and you pen line after line), but then that's not really a problem is it!
