Shelter

Well, this is one of my first 'real' poems. Im have to present it for english class tomorrow and thought i might get some responses from this lovely fan commune so i wont be as nervous.I wrote this with inspiration from Bono and Adam. So, tell me what you think. I hope you like it.
Though all too weary
hold your head high
thoughts of you
leave no tears of meloncholy
Love, you give our lives light
From the bows of heaven
throughout the night
Though all too weary
hold your head high
You've gone astray
And lost your way
it's you we will find
the light from your love will shine
a beacon through the foggy sea
we will hold you close
please don't worry
and when all is too weary
hold your head high
do not fear
as long as we're here
everything will be alright
-Diane
