Smile, you're reading my post
distorted memories and photograph trees
watchful the sky
within you I sleep

'love wont find its own way home'
a clown forever more
crying crystal tears

peaceful the night
what does it give into?
a soul with no home

no standing alone
together the moments fade
into a storm of doubt

you know my inner threat
diamond shores drowning my heart
laughter only brings more rain

rain on my soul
i love the way you talk to me
i love the way you walk on me
love the way you rain on my soul

*ZooManda rereads that piece of shite and notes down need for major reworking*

*mutters to self* And she calls ME self-deprecating!
*grabs zooManda and looks her in the eye* That not shite! That good stuff... and I admire you for posting it if you think it's that bad!

lol alisaura! I agree with you wholeheartedly!

Zooropamanda, this is great, it flows really well. I love the last stanza.(is that what the different sections of lines are called? stanzas?)
I think i'll go read this poem again!

"I don't want to be the bleeding hearts club here, but you can't close your eyes to what's going on in the world. But you want to hopefully make a music that tries to transcend that and lift yourself and, if you're lucky, other people out of that." -- Bono, 1997

ah, the crazy things we do...

I really like this poem.

"rain on my soul
i love the way you talk to me
i love the way you walk on me
love the way you rain on my soul"

hmm... I would think the phrase "rain on my soul" negative, but where I live it rains too much for my taste. I guess a person in the desert would look forward to some rain on their soul, eh?. I wanna be in the desert now. Thanks Amanda.

Come on, come on! Be good to me...
