Find me resolution
Find me a peace of mind
Find me a love
So rich and defined

I'll be waiting
For your loving soul
A place of refuge,
Somewhere under control

And I'll wait
For days on end
In restless hours
And aching minutes
Take your place
With midless senates
Cynical beliefs
And silver penants
I love you
But I don't know how to tell you
I'll climb this mountain
Just to show you
But it doesn't even matter
I'm lucky to even know you

-------------------------------
I'd thought I had seen the light
But I had a breakthrough to nothing
I sat lonely, I sat unafraid
Now my skin is crawling
I know the decision I had made

Slowly, I know everything will be alright
Somehow, I thought I played my cards right
Now I know I'm nothing
I thought I saw daylight
I bright moonlight

I've lost everything
Slipped and fell to the floor
I'd leave now
If I could find the door
I'm trapped in a house
Where I thought I could do more
But nothing has gone my way
I thought it could change today

Days haunt me like a bad dream
I'm tearing apart at the seem

----------------------------------------

Bitter pains hurt me everyday
I walk the sidewalks
Memories haunt my every step
I told you this
And you just whept

And last night
I walked the avenue
Under gray skies
The trouble will brew
When all it was
Was me and you

Is this just fate?
I want you
So you made me wait
Life is too short
But I love you more than life
And I'll be here waiting
Longer than you'll ever know
No place I'd rather be
There's no place I'd rather go

---------------------------------------

It's troubling to know
That love and destiny
Are a friend and for
There's no place to stay
No place to go

Mythical love
Lurks in watercolor skies
A birthplace of pain
And a million lies
A man wants to be honest
He tries and tries

Mother, give you son salvation
Mary is in the garden
Of a thousand temptations
And you helped me
With winters come and gone
Aching in my head
You were the light
Hanging over my bed

Now we are one
In love's blessed hands
Sirens ring true
In the desert's burning sands
Eyes of ghosts
In hearts of clay
Burning love's light
Everyday

---------------------------

Rays of morning
Crept into the night
My head rests
In my unforgiving hands
Oh mother, I hate to leave you
Alone like this
But I must go
I have to find myself
In someone else

I will pay the price
For my never-dying crime
Your voice echoes
Like a lovely chime

In empty halls
Of my vacant heart
The rooms are closed
The windows boarded up
I need you here
But you'll never find me
I've already lost myself
In someone else

The night is set to break
My life left empty
As I lay awake
My eyes feel like stone
Sitting all alone
But yet I feel your blood
In my veins
Pounding hard like the rain

-----------------------------

I sat up late at night
Looked up ay the moon shining bright
In a darkened corner of a thousand rooms
I saw loveles souls walking the avenues

And in this room I will stay
I'll let father time fade away
He took my youth, he'll take my life
He doesn't care if it's wrong or right

Now black is white
And everything is wrong
The sun don't shine
The birds have lost their song
But she'll lead you on a path
That leads nowhere fast
You've gone a million miles
Have you escaped your past?

There's no telling what's in store
Her face reflects in every resevoir
And she waits for love
And you found it
