One Way Street

you can scream at me or tell me off,
but i wont listen, id rather say something to cut you off,
the things you waste your time telling me,
arent worth the two cents i offered

you can complain and get in too deep,
bother yourself with things things that dont matter to me,
but i wont listen, and no i wont hear a thing,
i have my own issues to deal with at this time

i have no use for you or any of this,
id rather sit alone and wait for nothing to arrive,
than have to listen to you time and again

i like listening to your problems
but when you wont listen to mine,
ill learn to phase you out instead of wasting my time

i wont listen to a word you say,
ill turn my back and look the other way,
close my ears, shut my eyes and hum away,
even if you think you have something worthy to say

youve wasted my time, now ill waste yours,
my issues arent bigger than what they seem,
but they exist so id like you to see,
if you give me a nickle when i asked for a dime,
i wont find your money anymore useful than your time

I like the honesty of this piece Solar. You push forward some real hard emotions and thoughts, wrapped up in guilt. That's what I get from it anyway, even if thats not what you were saying.

Well thank you, to both of you. Every single piece ive ever posted here Ive written in 10 minutes tops, so to hear your compliments is something I do take to heart.

There is one thing, I want out of you. If you ever feel anything is wrong with my pieces, let me know. I wont feel offended, and Ill state my position on what you offer, and who knows? Good chance you can make my work better.
