The Fly
Here is my version in english of the French National Anthem which is one of the most bloody song one has ever written. What follows is naive on purpose to cock a snook at them.
We'll walk along the coast of freedom
To dive into the sea of hope,
It's a long long way through the hills
And a steep walk to moutain tops
But there's nothing that can make us stop.
Our goal is near and as we're singing,
It seems we're getting so close
To what every human being ever prayed
Or at least ever kneeled for.
It's love in front of us,
It's love that carries us,
It'll warm our biggest tears,
Erase our deepest wounds.
