sometimes joy comes with the morning
sitting isolated but not alone
you watch the tie-dyed colours bathe the sun drenched sky
and you feel like singing
caressed by the waves that rock your boat
you're adrift in the ocean of life
nothing holds you back now
and the day bears all possibilities without hindrance
as the noon wears on
the sun warms your back, hard at work
your hands do as you love
you build and in your humble creation you find peace
as the Sun's Showtime draws near
you start to make your bed from what you know
the silvery-green line is etched on the horizon
and you nestle down, feeling loved
you belong, you're home
you're held in the ocean's grasp but still
you're so close
