even NJ loves NY
I didn't mean to
I swear it on my broken heart
I led you on
I wanted you all along

Fear of the unknown
That black space under your bed
Sorrow reminds me
Of all the sweet things you said

I could cry
And you won't hear a thing
I could remember
All the happy memories you bring
You're not here
Did you ever love me, dear?

A note not worth sending
It's just another ending
I can't find you
In this mess of wires
Gone are the passionate fires
Of your soul

The rules aren't worth bending
Misunderstanding not worth mending
You can't hear my sorrow
Or feel me borrow
Your strength

You showed me so little
And yet so much
If I could only reach through this screen
Then I could feel your touch

hey great babygrace!

You showed me so little
And yet so much
If I could only reach through this screen
Then I could feel your touch

I know all about it...

p.s. flyers fans are not supposed to write poetry!!!

He he he! Flyers fans are more poetic than you think...
Or at least when they're sad. Bono was right, it's easy to write sad poetry. Except mine usually sounds stupid...it took some courage to post that one!

"I can't find you
In this mess of wires"

-Has anyone ever been found through this plastic, glass and wire box? I admire your wording here. There's so much mystery, wonder inside this computer.

BabyGrace......what I've read of your poetry (sad or otherwise) is not stupid....it's quite beautiful
