The way I came around to writing and posting here is odd... it started as a small project during summer: design the layout of a cd booklet for an imaginary rock band so that I would learn how to use the DTP s/w. I realised I should have lyrics and so decided to write my own little "songs". Soon I was spending more time on the words than the cd booklet. To cut this enticing tale short I stumbled across this little nest and haven't looked back at my little project since.

This however, is a throwback to my original intentions:

WARNING - this is not my original work - it's a tutorial I was following on www.computerarts.co.uk. The tutorial had an eye in the middle I used my little baby!
Anyone interested go to http://www.computerarts.co.uk/tutorials/type/tutorial.asp?id=26393

the text if you're interested is this:

I don?t know why? I don?t know why I do care
I don?t know how? I don?t know how your world turns

I feel so fine I feel like I found a diamond mine
You?re so fine? You?re so fine: you are higher than space and time

Set alight my Sa tel-lite
Hold me down tonight
Letting me hold you high
In the sky burning bright
Show me how to put things right

Spare some change? spare some change on the shooting range
Shout out loud? Shout out above the dirge

I feel free - I feel so free? that I shouldn?t be
I believe - I believe?. in nothing but you, you are my creed

You are my satellite
Set alight
The last temptation a woman unkind
Up against the wall I recite
Scrambling around for respite

Set alight my satellite

sorry about being so long winded this morning I need an excuse no to sleep

Dear Frogbat: I've always write, almost everyday I'm writing something. I just seem to enjoy it. I really don't know and can't remember how or why I started...but in the
end, it really doesn't matter. I found something I like to do. Mostly, though, I've
only shared them with close friends.

frogbat,

why does the bigger image get cut off at the bottom?

the graphics look like Eric Cartman from South Park in a Zooropa space suit

)

computers are great at hiding a lack of natural talent!

you've given me an idea for something...(insert evil laugh?)

I'm not having problems with any of the images btw, probably geocites was playing up.

U2Junkie, the irony is that I held the conviction that writing (read as 'verse') was passe, now I'm scribbling thoughts down every day... It's also helped me keep an open mind to different forms of communication.

Hope to see more of your stuff
