I don't typically share my poetry but thought I would after reading through everyone else's. Hope you enjoy it

If tomorrow were to never come
Would you realize just how much you mean to me
That I have cherished our friendship so deeply over the years
What started off with a smile and laughter
Has grown to become so much more
For you are the most special person in my life
An unexpected love turned into me finding the one I want
Within you I have found so much
You are my best friend
The one who I share everything with
From tears to cheers you are the one there
Always quick with a smile to make me laugh
For that is why it was so easy for me to fall in love with you
I would be lying to myself and to you
If I were to say I still don't dream of the day we are together again
When we are in each other's arms and know we will never have to say goodbye
This is a day that I will wait forever for
If it should come to that this day never arrives
That you find someone who takes your breath away
Than I will be comforted to know that you are happy
that I still have you as my best friend for life
I will always love you

Awwwwwwww thank you Lady that is very sweet and kind of you to say. I will admit I get incredibly shy about sharing my poetry. Always hold this fear that it's not good enough for anyone else to read. My best friend Mike who this poem is about has always encouraged me to put my writing out there. Happy to announce too that we have been back together for over 2 years now and each day becomes more wonderful. He is one of my greatest inspirations . Believe Lady that you could write a poem .
