You're a mystery
To me
I came from you
In away
You used to make your violin sing
Sweetly like a bird
In its flight home across the skies
I never heard you play
Your mind had already retreated
When I understood
Your heart sank slowly
Now there is nothing left
You're here
But you're not
You're hanging on to something
You haven't got
Sometimes I think
You've already flown home
Like the birds you used to make soar.

For Pop-pop
Dear God, please take him home soon. Don't leave him hanging on to nothing...Thank You.
Nikki

Thanks a lot guys. That's really sweet of you. I'm most worried about my grandmother. She's 89 and I don't think she can take it. I know I can; I've been through this before. It's really sad that it has to come at such a beautiful time of year and now my grandfather doesn't even know who we are or where he is. But, honestly, thank you so much. Prayer is always stronger when more than one person participates...I really appreciate it.
